Where have all the photos gone? Do not fear!

By now you are all certainly wondering where the photographs have gone.  Some of you have voiced your concern and yearning for digital visuals, while others seem to be quite satisfied with the current text-heavy style.  Well, for all the verbophiles out there - be happy!  I (Jared) have just been too tired at the end of each day to pick out an image and edit it for the blog.

But for those of you who yearn deeply for photos, I have a reasonable solution.  While I cannot promise immediate gratification (although I shall try), I do promise to do the following:

Given that our road trip began on August 1, I will invite you all to “re-live” the experience in a photographic storyline fashion starting September 1.  Each day in September, I will post a series of photos and captions that will take you through each and every experience of that same day in August.  Thus, a link to a new album will be posted here daily from September 1-22.  I hope you will enjoy seeing the trip from another side, and even another viewpoint (as I have not written any of the recent blog posts).  I hope you all continue to enjoy the lovely stories that Jeff is recounting.

…and, just perhaps, a few exciting pictures will pop up in a few days…
